Announcing the 2025-2026 Board of Directors Slate

MRN is pleased to announce its slate for the 2025-2026 board of directors with Kitty McIlroy, Northeast Maryland Waste Disposal Authority, returning as president. Michele Blair, City of Laurel Office of the City Administrator, and Anthony Drury, Washington County Department of Public Waste, will also return, continuing in their roles as vice president and secretary/treasurer. The Slate includes the return of all directors.

The Election will occur during the annual meeting portion of the MRN/SWANA Mid-Atlantic Conference on June 9th.

OFFICERS (to be elected to a one-year term starting July 1, 2025):

•    Vice President - Michele Blair, City of Laurel, Office of the City Administrator
•    Secretary/Treasurer - Anthony Drury, Washington County Department of Environmental Management

The board of directors sets the direction for the association, actively engages in legislative advocacy throughout the year to promote a healthy sustainable environment. They also provide a sounding board for members who are encouraged to contact any of the board members to share your thoughts, feedback and questions about MRN, legislation or related to recycling.
