
On January 11, 2026, MRN President Kitty McIlroy joined Delegate Dana Stein to present on
Electronics Recycling Extended Producer Responsibility legislation, as part of the two-day virtual
Maryland Legislative Coalition's Climate Justice Wing 7th Annual Summit for Climate and Environment.
The event provided a preview of the best climate and environmental legislation to be introduced in 2026!
Delegate Stein and Kitty highlighted benefits of the updated electronics bill to be introduced in 2026, alongside other presentations on legislation from Agency Heads, Senators and Delegates from the General Assembly and their advocates, and other NGOs.
The Maryland Legislative Coalition's
Climate Justice Wing Summit for Climate and Environment is an annual event, and the state's largest online pre-session legislative briefing on climate, water quality, and environmental bills.
