Every year, Maryland high school students turn trash into treasure for our “Rethink Recycling” Sculpture Contest. Since 2001, this creative competition has challenged students to transform recycled and reusable materials into eye-catching works of art. It is part of how we celebrate America Recycles Day, showing that with a little imagination, what might have ended up in a landfill can become something amazing.
